January 2, 2013: The night before

Ok so I've got everything prepped and ready to go for tomorrow. I attempted to wrap everything up at the office for the much anticipated 2 weeks off. Apparently you are up and about after a week but most people choose to take 2 weeks off just because of the swelling.

I've officially moved into Casa de mi Madre for a few days and I showed up packing various kitchen appliances, children's kitchen utensils and vast supply of sweatpants.

~ juicer
~ Blender
~ water pick
~ baby toothbrushes
~ sippy cups (cut the hole bigger with a knife)
~ Flonase
~ Peridex
~ per-op medicine ( I have no idea what's its for)
~ recipe book ( Pinterest was a life saver)

I'm currently eating my "Last Supper": pepperoni pizza. This is probably my most favorite food in the entire world and will be the first thing I eat gain when I'm back to real food!

The doc said to go to take an Ambien and go to bed early tonight. I found it strange that they insist you get a good nights sleep before they put you back asleep but apparently it's extremely important.

Tomorrow's the big day...I will be waking up at 4:00am to drive down to the Houston Medical Center and when I wake up I will have a non-crooked face, swollen but not crooked anymore!
